Every time I listen to Janina Edwards narrate Three Girls from Bronzeville, I am in awe. Not only does she have a gorgeous and lush voice, but it’s also chameleonic in that it blends seamlessly into the story. She breathes life into my words in a way that’s masterful. I know the hard work that she put into understanding my story and its real-life characters on the front end, and the result is a narration that is luminous. It has been an honor and privilege to have her animate my memoir.
